Car History

I first saw the car at school and I knew I had to have it. Then one day there was a for sale sign on it so I bought it for a price of $750. I had it a couple of months and the paint it had on it started falling off. The original color of the car was a very ugly lime green. I got hit one day and it didn't mess it up to bad.  So I decided to replace damaged parts and give it a new paint job.  I replaced quarter panels and painted it a bright metallic blue.  I had a four door that I painted and made look  real nice but I liked the two door better.  The two door only had a 6-cylinder in it and the four door had a 350 so I switched the motors around.  The two door had a lot of the options available for that year ,a clock, ps, pb, disk brakes, and ralley wheels  I have Cragar SS mags for summer use. My car has a trunk not a hatch back like most 74 Novas do.

When it went to the shop (my high school body shop) we had to fill in small ripples along the side of the car where the person who owned it before me took off the factory trim.  The right side quarter panel had to be aligned slightly for placement of the new quarter panel because of the accident.  We sanded down until the surface was smooth and rust free and painted over the lime green.  After all the parts and the engine were put back together and installed on the car this is what the car looks like now. I Have the car pretty fixed up now. The engine runs great the body looks good just a small amount of things left to do.
